Grass is green, water is wet, the sky is blue, and the Chiefs are moving on in the NFL playoffs.

That has become the standard in Kansas City under superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes. And next up, Mahomes will play the first road playoff game of his career as the Chiefs travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills at 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday.

Mahomes has been masterful since he took over the starting job for the Chiefs. He has two Super Bowl rings, two Super Bowl MVPs and has only lost three total playoff games, and he has a 12-3 record in the postseason.

While the 28-year-old has never missed a playoff start, but there have been a couple of moments where his backup quarterback has had to step in. Twice, second-string signal caller Chad Henne had to fill in for an ailing Mahomes, but Henne decided to retire on top after the Chiefs took home the Super Bowl last year.
