For the final time, midwestern rivals Fever and Lynx will take the court. Indiana hosts Minnesota for the third and last matchup in the 2024 WNBA season.
The Fever got the upset win 81-74 in the first matchup in June powered behind Kelsey Mitchell's 21 points and Aliyah Boston's double-double. But the Lynx didn't hold off the second time around, winning 90-80 for Maya Moore's jersey retirement ceremony. While Boston had another double-double and Caitlin Clark recorded 23 points in front of her idol (who ironically wore that number), it wasn't enough to counteract Napheesa Collier's 31 points.
But now, Indiana gets homecourt advantage for the first time. And that'll be extra beneficial as the Fever need to stay winning to stay in playoff contention.
