The men's singles section of Wimbledon 2024 could feature the final appearance at SW19 for two of the most dominant players of the modern era.

Two-time winner Andy Murray had to withdraw from the singles event following back surgery, and he is almost certain to retire from tennis after the 2024 Olympic Games.

Murray's old rival Novak Djokovic has recovered from injury in time for Wimbledon and the veteran Serbian is currently ranked as the world's No.2 men's player by the ATP.

Djokovic is the joint second most successful men's singles player in Wimbledon history, with seven titles, with Roger Federer on eight.
