Nine-time Copa America champion Brazil kicks off its campaign for glory on Monday with a matchup against CONCACAF foe Costa Rica.
The Selecao faces Los Ticos on Monday evening at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif., with the hopes of a nation resting on the shoulders of Vinicius Jr. With Neymar out, the creative heart of Brazil's attack will beat from the play of Vinicius and his Real Madrid teammate Rodrygo.
Costa Rica meanwhile will do their best to make life difficult for the Selecao, with veteran centerback Francisco Calvo in the squad for his nation's fifth-ever Copa America appearance.
