There's no place like Nebraska. Especially this volleyball season as the Huskers chase a return to the national title game.
Nebraska's season fell short last year in the championship match as the No. 1 team in the nation was swept by Texas. A heartbreaking loss, the Huskers aren't just back in 2024. They're better, ready to repeat a nearly undefeated season and this time claim the championship for the first time since 2017.
The best part? Nearly everyone is back. Nebraska lost no players to graduation, returning their core group of freshmen as well as now-seniors Lexi Rodriguez and Merritt Beason. Once again, John Cook went big in the transfer portal and grabbed outside hitter Taylor Landfair, the 2022 Big Ten Player of the Year from Minnesota.
If the Huskers weren't already the team to beat, they are now. Lincoln is the place to be as the entire state cheers on Big Red in their battle to return to the top of the volleyball world.

Bob Devaney Sports Center is the place to be during the season, so tickets are in high demand. Their home opener against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi currently costs at least $60 to get into, and their Big Ten home opener against UCLA costs $100.
