Two of the top five wrestling schools in the nation face off when Oklahoma State and Iowa clash on Sunday.

No. 4 Iowa (11-2) rebounded following a two-meet losing streak when the Hawkeyes beat Wisconsin on Feb. 18. The Senior Day event saw Iowa take a 34-7 win, which included winning eight of 10 and recording 30 takedowns to Wisconsin's six. Iowa outscored the Badgers 120-49 in match points.

A step in the right direction, Iowa immediately moves its attention to Oklahoma State.

“We have to focus on what is ahead,” head coach Tom Brands said via Hawkeye Sports. “That’s what we did after those losses. We are going to Stillwater, Oklahoma, in one week, and the postseason looms.”

Oklahoma State (14-0) is ranked second and is coming off a dominant 34-9 win against neighbor Oklahoma. On Senior Day, the Cowboys won their 19th straight Bedlam Series. OSU earned six bonus-point wins, a season-high. Coach John Smith is just two wins away from having the second-most wins in Division I wrestling history while the team looks for its first unbeaten season since 2005.

Overall, Oklahoma State has a 13-10-1 edge against Iowa. The last matchup between the two was a 28-7 Iowa win in 2023, the third straight match win for the Hawkeyes.
