Carrie Underwood, Sunday night and the NFL is closer than it seems. While the season doesn't officially kick off until September, some fans will get to experience the trio during the NFL Hall of Fame ceremony in Canton.
Seven players – Dwight Freeney, Randy Gradishar, Devin Hester, Andre Johnson, Steve McMichael, Julius Peppers and Patrick Willis – will get their names enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. It's about more than just the ceremony, though. The enshrinement is a multi-day event celebrating the players with a parade, a game between the Texans and Bears and a concert.
Underwood will perform the Concert for Legends on Sunday, August 4 to conclude the multi-day event. There's no better singer to do the honors. Who else has a theme song for the NFL?

Underwood continues her Las Vegas 'Reflection' residency this fall with two stretches of shows. She'll perform six shows each in August and October at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas.
