College football will be on a television set or streaming device near you soon, but everyone is consumed by the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics right now. In fact, if you are anything like me and work from home, you get up in the morning and turn on the television to have it on for background noise, then watch again in prime time to make sure you didn't miss anything.

If you've been following that same sports programming prescription, maybe you know that two Big Ten schools are killing it when it comes to sending Olympians to Paris. Both USC and Michigan are among the top five colleges sending Olympic athletes to Paris.

In fact, USC leads all colleges with a total of 58 Olympians across all countries. Stanford is second with 54 athletes, but Michigan is third with 42 total Olympic athletes in the games. That is quite the showing and a reason to be excited for so-called Olympic sports going forward for the conference.

With all of those athletes competing, you can bet there will be plenty of medals brought home as well. We're not even halfway through the Olympics yet, so stay tuned.
