It's been a full week since the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris, and the action has really started to heat up across the board. Medals will be on the line in a handful of events this evening in NBC's star-studded prime time lineup of events.

Viewers tuning into the primetime broadcasts tonight will catch USA track and field star Ryan Crouser on the beginning of his quest to become the first-ever shot-putter with three Olympic gold medals. Then star sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson — with her patriotic red, white, and blue nails — should turn heads at her Olympic debut in the 100-meter heats.
NBC's primetime coverage will conclude on Friday with star swimmer Caeleb Dressel competing in the men's 50-meter freestyle, followed by Americans Regan Smith and Phoebe Bacon trying to take down four-time gold medalist Kaylee McKeown of Australia in the women's 200-meter backstroke and French star Leon Marchand trying for a fourth gold of these Games in the 200-meter individual medley.
