The Minnesota Vikings were the most active in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft but it was how they approached day three that stood out.

The team recently released a video documenting the NFL Draft and it showed tidbits about how the team approached the event as a whole. One of the more intriguing elements of it was general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah telling the front office that he "promised" to get back their day three picks. Well, he didn't end up doing that, but he did practice patience on day three.

"I'm gonna stay," said Adofo-Mensah when talking about picks 230 and 232 where they were targeting offensive lineman Michael Jurgens and defensive lineman Levi Drake Rodriguez. " I trust my people."

The patience paid off, as Adofo-Mensah ended up saying that he would have taken Jurgens at pick 177. The biggest takeaway from the video? Adofo-Mensah is a man of his convictions and has no problem staying patient to get the players he wants.
