It’s no secret that Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is one of the best at the position in the NFL. He’s proven time and time again that he’s one of the top wide receivers in the game, and may go down as one of the best wide receivers of all-time before all is said and done. He’s been named to the AP All-Pro team five times in his career, and was named a member of the Hall of Fame’s All-2010’s team, and has made the Pro Bowl all eight seasons of his career.

Accolades from the press and fans are great, but it strikes a different chord when the accolades are coming from your peers. Hill was named the NFL’s top player in this year’s edition of the NFL Top 100, a yearly ranking of the best players in the NFL as voted on by the players themselves. If that wasn’t enough, one All-Pro cornerback has echoed those sentiments on a recent podcast appearance.

On an appearance with NFL insider Jordan Schultz and Golden State Warriors’ power forward Draymond Green’s new podcast, current Denver Broncos All-Pro Patrick Surtain II unveiled his picks for the top 5 wide receivers currently in the NFL. It should come as no surprise that his list features all the heavy hitters in the NFL, including Detroit Lions’ Amon-Ra St. Brown, Cincinnati Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase, and Dallas Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb.

Surtain has a tie in his top spot, with those honors going to Hill along with Minnesota Vikings’ Justin Jefferson, saying they’re “1A and 1B in my book, you can never go wrong with any of them at number 1”.

For Hill’s part, he put up 130 yards on seven receptions and scored once in Miami’s first game of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Jefferson had four receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown in the Vikings’ Week 1 win over the New York Giants. Both players signed massive extensions in the off-season, solidifying their status at the top of the food chain amongst NFL receivers.
