The Buffalo Bills have been bitten by the injury bug already in this young season.

Both of their star linebackers, Matt Milano and Terrel Bernard, are out for an extended amount of time. Milano suffered a biceps injury ahead of the season and is out indefinitely, although the team is hopeful he can be back by December. Bernard suffered a pectoral injury in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins. Luckily, it wasn't season-ending, but he is still going to miss at least a month of action.

With both stars out, this means Dorian Williams and Baylon Spector will be the starters on Monday against the desperate 0-2 Jacksonville Jaguars. And while they will start, this likely means a fan-favorite will see his first regular season action.

Rookie Joe Andreessen won the hearts of Bills fans in the preseason. The University of Buffalo product earned a spot on the training camp roster after a tryout at rookie minicamp and he made the most of his chances. He balled out in preseason play and earned a spot on the 53-man roster. We have yet to see him take the field during the regular season, but that will change in all likelihood with Buffalo being so thin at the inside linebacker position.
