The Texans are just on the outside of the AFC playoffs and need a victory over the Titans in Week 15 to keep pace with the rest of the field.
The biggest question surrounding Houston is the availability of quarterback C.J. Stroud, who suffered a concussion in last Sunday's loss to the Jets. Stroud will have to be cleared from concussion protocol to play against the Titans. He is second in the NFL with 3,631 yards passing. If Stroud can't to play, Davis Mills could get the nod at quarterback, and Case Keenum is another available option.
The Texans (7-6) are one game back of the Jaguars for first place in the AFC South.
The Titans (5-8) are coming off a stunning win over the Dolphins in which they rallied from a 14-point deficit with just over four minutes left to claim a 28-27 win. Rookie Will Levis, who was making his sixth start, led the comeback with a pair of touchdown drives. Levis went 23 of 38 with a touchdown pass and an interception. DeAndre Hopkins had seven catches for 124 yards, and Derrick Henry ran for two touchdowns.
