The Texans were very good with 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud and Defensive Rookie of the Year Will Anderson leading their respective units. Houston cruised to a 10-7 record despite myriad injuries to impact skill-position players, and proceeded to trounce the Browns to win the franchise's first playoff game in over four years.
