Oklahoma has the most players in the Super Bowl for the second straight season.

The Sooners will have six players represented in Super Bowl 58 on Feb. 11, the most among any FBS school and the same total as last season. Of course, Kansas City has something to do with that. Four Chiefs – tight end Blake Bell, center Creed Humphrey, tackle Wanya Morris and long snapper James Winchester played at Oklahoma. San Francisco tackle Trent Williams and tight end Brayden Willis also played at Oklahoma.

Georgia ranked second with five players in Super Bowl 58. That includes 49ers defensive end Robert Beal Jr., receiver Chris Conley and tight end Charlie Woerner. Kansas City receiver Mecole Hardman and linebacker Malik Herring also played for the Bulldogs.

Oklahoma and Georgia are the only schools with multiple players on both teams.

Michigan and Florida have four players each in Super Bowl 58. All four Gators play for the Chiefs, and three of the four Wolverines play for the 49ers.

49ers roster by college

The San Francisco 49ers roster can be seen here

The 49ers have 13 players from the Big Ten; followed by nine players from the SEC and Pac-12. Nine different Big Ten schools are represented on San Francisco's roster, and that includes four teams with multiple players.

Michigan receiver Ronnie Bell, cornerback Ambry Thomas and kicker Jake Moody give the 49ers three Wolverines. Defensive ends Nick Bosa and Chase Young represent Ohio State, and Penn State safety Ji'Ayir Brown and defensive lineman Kevin Givens are another tandem. Rutgers has two players on the 49ers in defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day and cornerback Logan Ryan. Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco also played at Rutgers, giving the school three players in Super Bowl 58.

Super Bowl roster oddities

—  Alabama does not have a player in Super Bowl 58. South Alabama is represented with cornerback Darrell Luter, Jr.

— Georgia and LSU extended their dueling streaks of sending at least one player to the Super Bowl to 23 seasons

— Each team has one player from the Ivy League in the Super Bowl. San Francisco fullback Kyle Juszczyk played at Harvard, and Kansas City receiver Justin Watson played at Penn.

— Middle Tennessee leads all Group of 5 schools with three players in Super Bowl 58. That includes Kansas City linebacker Darius Harris and receiver Richie James and San Francisco cornerback Chevarius Ward.

— San Francisco's Ben Bartch is this year's example of finding players from anywhere. He played offensive line at St. John's (Minn.) and is the lone Division III player in this year's Super Bowl.

— The Big Ten and SEC combined for 42 players; a total that would increase to 52 if you add the total players from incoming Big Ten schools Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington and incoming SEC schools Oklahoma and Texas. That's one player away from half the total players in the Super Bowl.
