The NFC Beast is back.

The NFC East will be one of the league's more competitive divisions in 2023 if last season was any indication. The division was represented by three teams in the playoffs: the Cowboys, Giants and Eagles. All three teams won a playoff game, but only the Eagles were able to win two — and make it to Super Bowl 57 in the process.

LIVE: Follow Cowboys vs. Giants updates from 'Sunday Night Football'

This year, both the Giants and the Cowboys will be working to knock the Eagles off their pedestal, but they'll have to fight each other for the right to do so.

Both teams have made some big-time additions this offseason. The Cowboys added receiver Brandin Cooks to help shore up their receiving corps, while the Giants swung a trade for Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller. The adds should make for fireworks in the Big D-Big Blue rivalry — at least, more than we've seen in recent years.

Here's what to know about the "SNF" matchup in Week 1.

It's an NFC East rivalry showdown on Sunday night: The Giants and the Cowboys meet in the debut of their 2023 season series.

The Cowboys are looking to at least replicate the success from their 2022 season, when they won 12 games and downed the Buccaneers in the playoffs.
