The Los Angeles Rams had their most active offseason of the last few seasons, signing several free agents and making their first pick in the first round for the first time since 2016. Most of these moves were done to shore up their depth and fix any remaining holes on the roster. While some spots still need addressing, the Rams built up their roster well and addressed some key spots, namely in their secondary.

However, they still have some work to do to make their roster even more complete. In their offseason to-do list, per Bleacher Report, the Rams have to solidify three positions ahead of the 2024 season for their roster to be complete. According to Bleacher Report, the Rams have to add another center, cornerback, and safety in the offseason.

I've written about adding another safety before in Justin Simmons for much of the same reason Bleacher Report suggests, and the Rams not drafting a single cornerback in the 2024 draft was head-scratching, but adding another center is an interesting discussion.

"After adding Jonah Jackson and Kevin Dotson in free agency, the Los Angeles Rams are moving second-year pro Steve Avila to center this fall. While Avila has experience at that spot in college, it might be smart to invest in a veteran as an insurance policy, especially since sixth-round pick Beaux Limmer is projected to be the team's backup right now."

I don't believe the Rams will invest in having three centers on the roster, but this will be Avila's first year at center in the NFL and Beaux Limmer only started one full season at the pivot in college. While both have good film, having a veteran center wouldn't be a bad option to have throughout camp to help the young players out. Offensive line coach Ryan Wendell played center in the NFL and is a valuable resource, but investing in a veteran player capable of filling in in a pinch isn't a bad idea for a roster as young as the Rams.
