The Philadelphia Eagles signed the final member of their 2024 draft class on Thursday, putting ink to paper with first-round pick Quinyon Mitchell.

Mitchell, a cornerback coming off two dominant years with Toledo, was the last of the team’s rookie class to make their deal official. The deal is for four years with the Eagles holding a fifth-year option on the first-round draft pick.

Mitchell will look to make an immediate impact in the Eagles secondary alongside fellow corners Darius Slay, Avonte Maddux, and James Bradberry. He will also be working with fellow draftee Cooper DeJean, who the Eagles selected with their second-round pick out of Iowa.

The Eagles secondary struggled mightily last year, especially in the team’s collapse through the second half of the season.

Particularly, the Eagles consistently gave up big conversions on third-and-long, a clear problem the team will look to fix heading into the 2024 campaign.
