Any remaining skeptics of the Ravens' Lamar Jackson-led offense should have been silenced Sunday night as Baltimore charged past the previously unbeaten Patriots 37-20.

New England (8-1) entered the "Sunday Night Football" AFC showdown with a defense that was leading the league in almost every major statistical category. Baltimore's second-year quarterback had plans to provide a wakeup call, however.

Jackson continued his recent hot streak while guiding the Ravens (6-2) to the signature victory. He finished the night with 17-for-23 passing for 163 yards and a touchdown. He also compiled 61 yards and two scores rushing.

The Ravens punched first, and although the Patriots attempted to answer early, Baltimore's offense proved too much to handle. Just moments into the second quarter, the Ravens had raced out to a 17-0 advantage.

WEEK 9 SCORES: Updates, results, highlights

Tom Brady (30-for-46 passing, 285 yards, one touchdown, one interception) hit Mohamed Sanu for a 4-yard touchdown to get New England on the board in the second, and a pair of field goals by Nick Folk made the score 17-13 at the break. A four-point margin was as close as the Patriots would get.

The home team proceeded to control the second half. Baltimore quickly halted New England's momentum with a 70-yard fumble return touchdown by Marlon Humphrey, and two 14-play scoring drives in the fourth quarter helped to seal the win.
