The New England Patriots spent Monday and Tuesday getting their roster down to 53 players by the NFL deadline, but after claiming four players off of waivers, the team has had to make more cuts.
According to the Boston Herald's Doug Kyed, the Patriots have released wide receiver Jalen Reagor and cornerback Isaiah Bolden.
Reagor, 25, was a first-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020 who joined the Patriots last year. He appeared in 11 games for New England, catching seven passes for 138 yards and serving as the team's kick returner, bringing one of his seven returns back for a touchdown.
Bolden, 24, was a seventh-round pick of the Patriots in 2023 after playing for Florida State and Jackson State. He missed all of his rookie season after suffering a head/neck injury in the preseason that resulted in the cornerback being taken off of the field in an ambulance.
