The Philadelphia Eagles had quite a busy offseason, once again making moves in the NFL Draft and extending wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith on new deals that will keep them in the City of Brotherly Love for the foreseeable future.

The biggest free agent acquisition of the offseason so far came in former New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley, who signed a three-year, $37.75 million deal with the Eagles that includes $26 million guaranteed.

Speaking with media members on Tuesday, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni joked with reporters, clearly delighted with the new addition to the team’s running back room.

“You know, sometimes you see Giants fans around here, being so close,” Sirianni said. “They give me a good ‘Go Giants’ and I typically let it go, but if the guy gets me good enough, I usually say, ‘You know, we got your best player.’”

As divisional foes, the Eagles have seen plenty of Barkley over the years when he was with the Giants.

While Barkley won just two of his nine games against Philadelphia, he scored seven touchdowns against them in his career, more than any other team in the NFL other than Washington.

Now with the Eagles, Barkley will get the chance to roast his former team on the field twice a season.
