The Minnesota Vikings didn't waste time making roster moves in preparation for training camp. On Monday, they officially placed tight end T.J. Hockenson and safety NaJee Thompson on the Physically Unable to Perform list and running back DeWayne McBride on the Non-Football Injury list.

Hockenson's status was expected and confirmed on Monday afternoon by head coach Kevin O'Connell. That came a mere hours before he was placed on the list by the team. He is recovering from a torn ACL suffered against the Detroit Lions on Christmas Eve.

Thompson is one that is a surprise as we don't know what his injury is, same with McBride. They aren't going to be major concerns until we are told they need to be.

The Vikings are in a good spot though, as edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel avoided being placed on the PUP list with a Lisfranc injury. He will still need time to continue the healing process.

Overall, the Vikings are relatively healthy going into training camp and that's a good thing.
