Micah Parsons doesn’t plan on leaving the Dallas Cowboys any time soon.

The perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate is already one of the most fearsome defenders to ever suit up for Dallas, and could very well play for the Cowboys for his entire career.

But according to Cowboys reporter Clarence Hill Jr., if Parsons were to decide to make a “homecoming” late in his career, he would stay away from the Philadelphia Eagles, and instead lean towards joining the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Parsons, who was born in Harrisburg and became a star and Penn State, was coveted by both teams when coming out of the college in the 2021 NFL Draft. But the Eagles traded up to get some receiver help in Heisman winner DeVonta Smith, and Parsons was already off the board by the time the Steelers were able to make their first pick of the night.

Heading into the 2024 season, Parsons is the co-favorite alongside Steelers’ linebacker T.J. Watt to win DPOY.

Parsons will get two games against the Eagles and one against the Steelers this year to show his home state what they’re missing.
