The Los Angeles Chargers are a team that has filled several holes on the roster this offseason and now seems to be a team just adding luxury pieces. That's exactly what the signing of Bud Dupree feels like.

The Chargers already have two of the more well-known sack artists in the league in Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack. On top of that, Tuli Tuipulotu was a great find in the draft last year, registering 4.5 sacks as a rookie. The addition of Dupree gives them one of the best edge-rushing groups in football.

Bud Dupree was a first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers out of Kentucky in 2015. He played there for six seasons before two years with the Tennessee Titans and this last year with the Atlanta Falcons. He was discussing a return to Pittsburgh or Atlanta before ultimately signing with Jim Harbaugh's Chargers.

He has 305 career tackles. More importantly, he has 53 career sacks. That is what he will be asked to do in Los Angeles as a rotational pass-rusher. The deal is reportedly for two years.

Dupree is 31 years old. He played on 63.5 percent of the Falcons' defensive snaps last season and though that number could come down this season, he is a perfect option to come in as part of certain packages and get after the quarterback.
