Kyle Brandt of NFL Network's Good Morning Football television show may have created trouble for the Washington Commanders running back room.

Every Tuesday during the NFL season, Brandt awards an angry scepter to the player who made the angriest run the previous weekend.

This week, he awarded it a Washington Commanders running back for the first time.  Though his co-hosts were unsure he should do it, he gave the award to Austin Ekeler for the "flying knee aerial assault" run he made.  Peter Schrager and Jamie Erdahl were skeptical about giving it to Ekeler when Brian Robinson Jr. committed his own angry runs in the Week 2 win over the New York Giants. Robinson has also publicly lobbied for the award in the past asking Brandt why he and the Commanders never received the award.

Neither Ekeler nor Robinson has commented on Brandt's Week 2 declaration.

It is all in good fun, and the 1-1 Commanders are riding high from a big Week 2 win that puts them in a three-way tie for first place in the NFC East with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.
