Facing the Steelers in Week 3, the Chargers came in looking to improve to 3-0 this season.
However, that became a lot tougher after an injury to star quarterback Justin Herbert. After entering the game with some injury concerns, Herbert was later replaced on the field by Los Angeles' backup Taylor Heinicke, and the Chargers fell 20-10.
Herbert's injury status will be worth monitoring, as it could significantly impact the Chargers' offense and outlook moving forward.
Here are the latest updates on Herbert's status after his injury in Week 3 vs. the Steelers.

Justin Herbert injury updates in Week 3
In the third quarter of Sunday's matchup vs. Pittsburgh, Herbert walked gingerly to the sidelines, where he immediately sat on the ground.
Heinicke took over from there. Coming into the game, Herbert had been dealing with a high ankle sprain. He was questionable coming into the weekend, but Los Angeles allowed him to play through any injury concerns.
The Chargers did not provide further updates on Herbert's status during the game, but Heinicke remained in at quarterback through their final drive. Los Angeles eventually fell 20-10 to the Steelers, falling to 2-1 this season.
After the game, Herbert said he believed that the injury wasn't anything worse than aggravating his high ankle sprain again.
On Monday, Ian Rapoport reported that X-rays on Herbert's ankle came back negative and he'll "continue to be monitored" throughout the week.
Herbert's status will be worth keeping an eye on headed into Week 4 as Los Angeles provides more updates on the quarterback's injury.
