Football is a game, but the impact NFL players have goes far beyond the field of play.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen recently spent time with the mother of a three year-old boy who was shot and killed in Buffalo.
The boy, Ramone Carter, was shot and killed outside of his home during a family event. His older sister was also grazed by a bullet.
Allen took a moment after practice to spend time with Carter's mother, Shakenya Griffin, and her family.
Some things are bigger than football, and this is certainly one of them.
