America, get ready to see a lot of green this year.
The NFL released its full 2024 schedule Wednesday night, and the Jets will play six primetime this season. That's tied with the Cowboys and 49ers for the most in the NFL this year. They play all six of those games through their first 11 games of the year and don't have a bye week until the 11th week of the season. The Jets' schedule as a whole features a lot of must-watch games.
The Jets kick off the year on the road against the 49ers on Monday Night Football, then face the Patriots at home on Thursday Night Football in Week 3. New York plays back-to-back primetime games in Week 6 on Monday night against the Bills and then on Sunday night on the road against the Steelers in Week 7.
New York's final two primetime games are in Week 9 against the Texans at home in a Halloween matchup on Thursday night and then against the Colts on Sunday night in Week 11. The Jets also played a 9:30 a.m. game against the Vikings in London in Week 5.
Aaron Rodgers is the obvious appeal here. The NFL featured the Jets in a lot of primetime games in 2023 as well, but Rodgers missed all but four snaps of the season-opener after he tore his Achilles in Week 1. The league hopes Rodgers' season lasts longer than that in 2024, especially at least through Week 11.
