To say that Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels is generating a lot of hype on the first day of training camp would be an understatement.
Daniels seemed like one of the biggest leaguewide hype points on Wednesday despite most of the league firing up practices.
For good reason, too. Daniels appeared to have great zip on his passes, connected on a few huge plays and his placement on certain routes like hitches looked solid.
Granted, most high-end draft picks–and especially former Heisman Trophy winners in contention to go No. 1 overall–should look the part from the first snap of camp.
But let’s not discredit Daniels, either–just ask Terry McLaurin about how positively different things feel at this particular Commanders camp.
