Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson recently confessed on the Up & Adams show that Jason Kelce is neither gone nor forgotten in Philadelphia.

Admittedly, he was never going to be forgotten and is a future Hall of Famer, but it is newsworthy that he has a presence with the team including a locker in the coaches' room.

Johnson went so far as to say that Kelce has spent more time in the facility than the players (including Johnson) during the offseason.  This seemingly points to Kelce having an advisory role with his former team.

Leaving the game behind is not in Kelce's vocabulary, because in addition to this "role", he will be part of ESPN's Monday Night Football coverage.

Perhaps Kelce is taking a page out of Cleveland Browns Hall of Fame offensive tackle Joe Thomas who has always maintained close contact with his former team even while he worked for NFL Network a few years ago.
