Jason Kelce is back.

Well, back on television, at least.

On Monday, Andrew Marchand of The Athletic reported that Kelce was set to join ESPN as a member of the network’s “Monday Night Countdown” panel.

Kelce, who announced his retirement from the NFL earlier in the year, was a highly sought after candidate across several networks, including NBC, CBS, and Amazon, per Marchand.

Between his popularity as a player and the breakout success of his podcast “New Heights,” which he hosts with his brother Travis, Kelce was expected to have his pick from several potential media jobs. Now he’s landed with the worldwide leader in sports.

Jason wasn’t the only Kelce brother to make news on Monday, as his brother Travis signed an extension with the Chiefs that will make him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.

Not a bad way for the Kelce family to start the week.
