Jalen Ramsey has reset the cornerback market once again.
The Dolphins CB agreed to a record-setting three-year extension on Friday worth $24.1 million per year, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal came just days before Miami's Week 1 opener vs. Jacksonville.
Ramsey, 29, is heading into his second season with the Dolphins after four seasons with the Rams and four with the Jaguars.
Here are the details on his new extension to remain in Miami for the long term.

Jalen Ramsey contract details
Ramsey and the Dolphins reportedly agreed on a three-year, $72.3 million extension. It makes Ramsey the league's highest-paid CB in history for the second time in his career.
Ramsey had two years and $45.6 million remaining on his prior contract, per Spotrac, so the new deal bumps his pay. It also pushes his guaranteed career earnings just below $150 million.
Schefter reported that after Broncos CB Patrick Surtain II agreed to a record-setting deal worth $96 million over four years, Ramsey and Miami looked to once again "create a new bench mark" with his new contract.
Ramsey's deal puts him back at the top of the list of the league's highest-paid corners.
