The NFL Draft started a nationwide tour in 2015 after 50 consecutive years in New York City, and that tour won't be ending anytime soon. By taking the draft outdoors across different football-loving cities, the NFL has been able to turn the annual event into a spectacle that all types of fans can enjoy.
Since 2019, the NFL Draft has made stops in Nashville, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Kansas City and Detroit. The NFL said an estimated 775,000 fans attended the draft in Detroit in 2024, which is a massive increase from what the league would be able to pull when the draft was held at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.
Unlike the Super Bowl, which is relegated to domes and warm-weather venues because it's played in the winter, the draft's position on the calendar allows it to travel all across the country. That means we will likely continue to see variety with NFL Draft locations in the years ahead.

Here's what you need to know about future locations for the NFL Draft, including host cities for both 2025 and 2026.
Where is the NFL Draft in 2025?
The NFL Draft is headed to Green Bay in 2025. Not many details about the exact location of the festivities have been revealed yet, but the Packers' website reveals the "main portion of the event is expected to take place on the Lambeau Field and Titletown campus."
Considering Lambeau Field is right next to a residential neighborhood, the stadium will likely have to be a central part of the draft, as there are not many other options where fans can gather.
The iconic venue can't host a Super Bowl because of frigid February temperatures, but the NFL Draft's presence in late April gives Lambeau Field and Green Bay a moment in the spotlight.
Where is the NFL Draft in 2026?
The 2026 NFL Draft was awarded to Pittsburgh at the NFL owner meetings in 2024.
"This will be an amazing event that will highlight everything the region has to offer on a national and international level," Steelers owner Art Rooney II said as part of the announcement.
Details about the exact location of festivities will come at a later date, but Acrisure Stadium is across the river from the downtown section of Pittsburgh. Still the stretch along the North Shore neighborhood spanning from Acrisure Stadium to PNC Park features plenty of restaurants and space to potentially host a major event.

Future NFL Draft locations
The NFL has not yet announced host cities for the NFL Draft beyond 2026, but the next two drafts will be held up north between Green Bay and Pittsburgh.
The 2025 and 2026 NFL Draft locations were revealed at the owners meetings in May, so the site of the 2027 NFL Draft figures to be announced in May 2025.
