It's that time of the year when everyone puts out their power rankings. Recently, FOX Sports and FanDuel released their rankings, and Cleveland Browns fans do not know who to believe.
FOX Sports has a higher opinion of the Browns, putting them in the 10th spot; whereas, FanDuel ranked the Browns at 22nd.
Why is there such a huge disparity? The Browns offense, under Deshaun Watson, has not gotten off the ground since he arrived in 2022 between his 2022 suspension and 2023 injury. Nick Chubb is also coming off a major knee injury. Other question marks are related to the coaching staff. Bill Callahan, arguably the best offensive line coach in the NFL, left this offseason to join his son, Brian Callahan, who was named the head coach of the Tennessee Titans. Longtime offensive coordinator, Alex Van Pelt is also no longer with the team.
The Browns come into 2024 with plenty of talent and excitement, but FOX Sports and FanDuel differ on whether they believe the team's high expectations will be realized.
