On Monday, former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Pharoh Cooper announced his retirement from the NFL. Cooper was with the Arizona Cardinals in 2022 but was not on any NFL roster for the 2023 season.

The Rams drafted Cooper in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft at 117th overall, the same draft the team selected standouts like quarterback Jared Goff and tight end Tyler Higbee.

Cooper was selected to the 2017 All-Pro team and named a Pro Bowler that year as a punt returner, helping the Rams make a playoff berth in Sean McVay's first season as the head coach of the Rams. The Rams waived Cooper in 2018.

Cooper spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals, Carolina Panthers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the New York Giants from the 2018-2022 seasons.

In his career, Cooper caught 61 passes for 545 yards and one touchdown. As a returner, Cooper amassed nearly 4,000 return yards and one touchdown over his career.
