The disappointment from the 2023 season isn't enough to dampen expectations for the New York Jets in 2024.

Future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers appears healthy and ready to erase the memory of last year's devastating injury. The Jets have fortified the offensive line responsible for protecting Rodgers and their highly-touted defense returns all core pieces.

Those realities are enough evidence for NFL Network show host Kyle Brandt to back the Jets in their quest to end a 13-year postseason drought. During a guest appearance on the Mina Kimes Show on YouTube, Brandt ranked New York ahead of Miami Dolphins primarily due to Rodgers's highly-anticipated return.

"I can't quit Rodgers. I just can't. I've said for years, he's the best quarterback I've ever seen, like the best. Even last year, with everything that goes on and all of his ridiculousness off the field, I can't quit Rodgers," said Brandt, a former soap opera actor who co-hosts Good Morning Football.

The 40-year-old Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, has thrown for 59,055 yards and 475 touchdowns over his illustrious career. Those numbers rank ninth and fifth, respectively, amongst all-time NFL leaders.

"I picked him to be the MVP last year. I thought he was going to go to New York and win another MVP. I'm not gonna do that this year, but I think he's gonna be great," said the former cast member on MTV's Real World.

Recently listed at +1600 odds by DraftKings Sportsbook, Rodgers is the eighth most-likely player to win the 2024 NFL MVP award.
