The NFL announced on Thursday that an investigation into the Philadelphia Eagles’ signing of running back Saquon Barkley did not produce evidence to show that the team had violated the league’s Anti-Tampering Policy.

With the statement, the Eagles can move forward into the 2024 season without fear of losing any of their crop of upcoming draft picks in 2025.

The investigation was looking into contact the Eagles may have had with Barkley before they were permitted to do so, but after the review, the matter is now settled.

Barkley enters his first season in Philadelphia coming off of a pretty solid 2023 season in which he ran for 962 yards and six touchdowns. He’ll be looking to improve on both of those totals this year running behind the Eagles offensive line.
