Did the Minnesota Vikings decide on who their kicker is after less than a week?
That appears to be the case. John Parker Romo took to Twitter/X and said that he will be available at 4 p.m. ET on Monday, which would signal his release.
The reason why Romo listed the time is because of the transaction wire drops at that time. Nothing has been officially announced but it appears that it is coming later on Monday.
Romo was outshined by rookie sixth-round pick Will Reichard early and often, including on Saturday when Reichard went 5-for-5 on field goals. The Vikings seem to have their guy at kicker and tile will tell if it's the right call.
It will be intriguing to see what the corresponding roster move will be for the Vikings.
