This past Sunday, the Denver Broncos added their first win to their 2024 season in a 26-7 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite the two poor performances where the Broncos looked like they couldn't get over the hump, Bo Nix proved why he is able to play at an elite level in the NFL.

While Nix did not throw for a touchdown, he did rush for a score and threw for over 200 yards on 25/36 completions, averaging six yards per pass.

And it wasn't just the offense that played well. The Broncos defense stepped up to the plate putting up seven sacks, one fumble recovery and an interception. Such tremendous play on both sides of the ball allowed for a dominant Broncos win.

Now, the Denver Broncos head to New York to take on Aaron Rodgers and the Jets. This will be no easy task, as The Sporting News writer Bill Bender states in his 'NFL picks, predictions for Week 4':

There is going to be a lot written about Aaron Rodgers, Sean Payton, and Nathaniel Hackett this week. Denver has allowed just 15.3 points per game through three weeks, and they have an excellent pass rush led by Jonathan Cooper. Aaron Rodgers has improved with each week, and he has taken just five sacks in three games. Bo Nix avoided turnovers in Week 3. Will he do that in Week 4 against a Jets' defense that had seven sacks in Week 3?

The Jets are arguably the best offense the Broncos have seen thus far this season, as well as total defense, which is why Bender has the Broncos falling to the Jets 24-17. However, if last week's matchup versus the Bucs says anything, a great offense is beatable as long as the Broncos are fundamentally sound on both sides of the ball.

The Broncos face the Jets on Sunday, September 29 at 1:00 PM EST on CBS.
