The Dallas Cowboys are very slim at the receiver position. Outside of superstar CeeDee Lamb, Dallas is relying a lot on veteran Brandin Cooks and names like Jalen Tolbert and Jalen Brooks to play above their skill level.

This is why Cory Kinnan of Sports Illustrated has the Cowboys taking wide receiver Emeke Egbuka out of Ohio State in his latest mock draft.

"Outside of CeeDee Lamb, the Dallas Cowboys are fielding an aging Brandin Cooks and minimal production they've gotten out of Jalen Tolbert," Kinnan wrote. "They need to add another talented wide receiver to their wide receiver room. Here, they take the ever consistent and well-rounded Emeka Egbuka. He's not overly explosive, but Egbuka knows how to win between the stripes. While he lacks an over-arching elite traits, Egbuka is a jack-of-all-trades."

The Cowboys have Lamb and Dak Prescott locked down for the long-term future, so the next step should be surrounding them with young, cheap talent. Egbuka already has a 1,000 yard season under his belt back in 2022, and would be the No. 2 in Dallas' offense almost immediately.
