Sunday's non-conference game between the Cowboys and Dolphins will have major playoff implications. Both teams are looking to win their divisions and stay near the top of the postseason standings.
Dallas (10-4) was routed in Buffalo last week but still managed to clinch a postseason berth based on other results. Now the Cowboys have to play another strong AFC East opponent on the road, where they are just 3-4 on the season.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been mostly effective, but he finished with 134 yards passing with no touchdowns and one interception (57.7 rating) against the Bills. It was the first time since Week 1 that he didn't throw a touchdown pass. Prescott has still thrown for 3,639 yards with 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season.
Miami (10-4) currently holds the No. 2 seed in the AFC behind the Ravens, who play the 49ers in Week 16. The Dolphins are also in first place in the AFC East, two games ahead of the surging Bills. Miami plays Buffalo in Week 18 in a game that could decide the division champion.

Dolphins linebacker Bradley Chubb was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in Sunday's 30-0 win over the Jets. Chubb had a team-high seven tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits. He will look to keep the pressure on Prescott.
The Dolphins' offense has been dominant and leads the NFL with 414.1 yards per game. Miami also scores a league-leading 31.5 points per game.
Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for 3,921 yards with 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also leads all players in Pro Bowl Games voting (175,772).
The Dolphins are hopeful wide receiver Tyreek Hill can get back in the lineup after missing last week's game against Jets with a left ankle injury. Hill has 1,542 yards receiving and is chasing the single-season receiving yards record set by Calvin Johnson with 1,964 in 2012.
