33-year-old Super Bowl Champion tight end Zach Ertz is a member of the Washington Commanders. Fans who may not have been aware that Ertz signed a one-year contract during the offseason now know because Ertz showed that he still has it with an Odell Beckham Jr. one-handed catch at Commanders training camp on Day 2.
Ertz is one of six tight ends competing for a spot on the Commanders' 53-man roster. He spent last season on the Detroit Lions practice squad. Catches like these improve his odds.
It doesn't hurt his cause that Commanders' head coach Dan Quinn is pleased with how he is performing so far.
