Legendary Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar has spent 2024 dealing with the toughest challenge of his life. The 60-year-old Ohio native has been diagnosed with liver failure and the early stages of Parkinson's Disease.

Kosar told Cleveland Magazine that his body "gave out" on December 28 when he was making an appearance with the Browns before their game with the New York Jets.

He was hospitalized during the Super Bowl in Las Vegas and told by doctors that he had cirrhosis of the liver which would likely require a liver transplant. Kosar is on the transplant list but has made changes to his diet to feel better as he waits.
