Chris Jones was none too pleased with the Chiefs' defense following an Eagles touchdown in Super Bowl 57 — one in which the unit was caught out of position three times.

Indeed, the Chiefs twice allowed the Eagles to convert on fourth down — one on a well-timed quarterback draw and the other with an offside penalty — before Jalen Hurts scored an all-too-easy touchdown on a QB keeper.

That led to the All-Pro defensive tackle yelling at his teammates on the sideline at State Farm Stadium:

The first misstep occurred on fourth-and-5 from the Chiefs' 44. Kansas City rushed its four down linemen, with Jones himself getting out of position on his rush, wich allowing Hurts to convert with a 28-yard keeper.

Later, the Eagles face another fourth down, this one fourth-and-2 from the Kansas City 8. This time Derrick Nnadi was called for jumping offside before the snap, though he appeared to be lined up in the neutral zone as well.

All of that resulted in Hurts rushing for a 4-yard touchdown, his third overall TD of the half, and giving the Eagles a 21-14 lead.

Jones was undestandably angry at his teammates, but the unit also scored half of the Chiefs' first-half touchdowns, on a 36-yard return by Nick Bolton following a Hurts fumble:

The question for the Chiefs in the second half is whether they can slow down Hurts and Co. The Eagles kicked a field goal right before halftime to take a 24-14 lead into the break, but the more telling stat is time of possession.

Philadelphia held the ball for an astounding 21:54, not only keeping Patrick Mahomes off the field but also tiring the Chiefs' defense.
