For the second straight year, the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs will kick off the NFL season at home in the official season opener.
On May 13, the NFL announced that Kansas City will host the Ravens on Thursday, September 5 at Arrowhead Stadium in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship Game. Within an hour of the announcement, the cheapest tickets for Chiefs-Ravens Week 1 soared over $100 on StubHub.
They'll hope for better results than last year when the Lions upset the Chiefs in the season opener to spoil their championship celebration.
