Mark Twain once said, "There is no such thing as a new idea." And that seems to have applied with the 2024 NFL schedule release for the Chiefs and the Texans.
Each team posted videos on social media that were eerily similar. They both featured machines crushing the effigies of their opponents for this season.
Coincidentally, the Chiefs and Texans face off in Week 16. The Chiefs have five total primetime games this year with plenty of intrigue, while the Texans have three primetime games as they make a push for a Super Bowl in 2024. Houston also won't have to travel as much in 2024 but will have one of the toughest schedules in the league.
