24 hours after releasing 2022 third round draft pick wide receiver David Bell, the Cleveland Browns appear to be in search of a new wide receiver to add to the 2024 roster.

According to Field Yates, the Browns hosted Super Bowl Champion WR Kadarius Toney on Friday for a tryout. The Chiefs released Toney because of their stacked wide receiver room consisting of  Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, Xavier Worthy, and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

At 25 years of age, Toney is already a two-time Super Bowl Champion.  He made big plays in the Chiefs' Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles in February 2023. Toney also tried out for the Seattle Seahawks.on Tuesday.

The Browns seem unsettled with their wide receivers, perhaps looking for a missing piece.  Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, and Elijah Moore are the principal players.
