Cleveland Browns running back Pierre Strong Jr. has reportedly suffered a noncontact upper-body injury during individual drills at Wednesday's practice. Strong walked off the field with a trainer but was later taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Coach Kevin Stefanski is expected to provide an update after practice which was ongoing.

Strong is the second Browns running back to be taken by ambulance from a training camp practice. D'Onta Foreman was airlifted as a precautionary measure after suffering a direct blow to the head while the Browns were practicing at The Greenbrier.

The Browns running back room is already banged up.  Nick Chubb and Nyheim Hines remain on the PUP list.  Jerome Ford is the current RB1, and Strong, Foreman, Hines, and Aidan Robbins around out the roster.

The team continues to struggle to stay healthy in the preseason.  Injuries to the offensive line have been a constant this summer.  All of this is a precursor to quarterback Deshaun Watson's return to competitive football after suffering a season-ending injury culminating in shoulder surgery last November.  Watson was supposed to start Saturday's preseason game at Seattle on Saturday, but the offensive line injuries could alter that plan.
