On Wednesday, Cleveland Browns defensive players Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Michael Hall Jr., and Denzel Ward made the news.

Owusu-Koramoah received his long-awaited contract extension.  The 24-year-old 2021 second-round pick who made his first Pro Bowl in 2023 is getting a three-year deal worth up to $39 million with $25 million guaranteed.

Rookie defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr., who was arrested as the result of a domestic dispute earlier in the week, returned to practice on Wednesday.  When asked about Hall's situation, Coach Kevin Stefanski said the Browns are"letting the legal proceedings play out."  There are disturbing allegations made against Hall that will need to be specifically addressed at some point by Stefanski and the Browns.

Denzel Ward also made Wednesday news but not for a good reason.  Ward is now in concussion protocol after a collision with Elijah Moore at Monday's practice.  The cornerback has had frequent concussions in his NFL career which is concerning for his long-term health.
