The Buffalo Bills have been a receiving corps by committee in the early stages of the 2024 NFL season. Josh Allen has thrown seven touchdown passes this season to six different Bills pass-catchers. The only player with two scores, though, is third-year receiver Khalil Shakir.

Shakir is the only returning member of the Bills' receiving corps from a year ago. And when asked about No. 10, Allen couldn't say enough about what he brings to the team.

"I can say this over and over again - he's a fricking football player," Allen said. "Emphasis on 'football.' He loves the game, he does things the right way, he's so selfless in his approach throughout the week. He may get two passes during practice - and again, he just keeps finding ways to be in the right spot at the right time and he makes plays. And that's just kind of his M.O. I fricking love him and I'm so proud of him and his trajectory."

Shakir has caught all 14 of his targets this season for 168 yards and two touchdowns. His 14 catches lead the team through three weeks, and he is clearly the overall leader of this group as a whole.

The Bills will try to continue this momentum next week when they travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens.
